Welcome to the official online home of the Pennsylvania State USBC Bowling Association!  As we continue to work to improve and market the great sport of bowling in our commonwealth, please check back here often for the latest news and updates. Entering our 80th year, the PSBA dates back to 1937 and it was born in the back of a Cadillac.

This season marks the final year for the PSBA as we know and love it. We have dedicated and determined members of both the PSBA, PWBA and the Pennsylvania Youth organizations working very hard to take the best of the organizations and combine them into one. On March 10th, 2018 those delegates chosen by their respective local associations will meet to decide on the bylaws and future of bowling at the state level.

Through our competitive tournament products such as our Open Championships, Mixed Tournament, and Seniors Tournament, we have strived to provide quality competition for all levels of ability that we should be proud of.  I am also proud to say that we have awarded over $250,000 in prize money to our bowlers in the past season (2016-17) alone and well over $1 million in the last five seasons.

The Association also operates a terrific Hall of Fame program that annually inducts our finest bowlers for exemplary achievements on and off the lanes on an annual basis at our Annual Convention in July.

Our PSBA Scholarship Trust has also been a crown jewel for our organization for many years and awards scholarships annually with a value of $1,500 each.  Since its inception, The Scholarship Trust has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to deserving young men and women to assist them in pursuing their dreams of higher education.

Newer innovations to the website this season include the ability to download, type out, and print Tournament entry forms, Scholarship and Hall of Fame applications directly from our website into your computer and printer!  This makes all applications processes literally as simple as:  Click, Type, and Print!  Our Information Technology team is hard at work improving our site on a continuous basis and we encourage you to check back often and see the fruits of their labor.

The PSBA is proud to be a business partner of Ebonite Bowling International and their family of companies and brands.  I humbly ask you to visit their websites and thank them for their support of our great organization.

In closing it is an honor and privilege to serve as your President for the 2017-18 bowling season.  I hope to see you out on the lanes.  If you see me, stop by and say hello.  I would be honored to meet you! Yours in Bowling, Harold Benner 2017-2018 PSBA President haroldbenner@gmail.com
