ANNOUNCEMENT AND PROCEDURE

The PSBA awarded its first two scholarships in 1997 with a modest $500 per scholarship. The number of scholarships and the amount per scholarship has increased thanks to the generosity of the Pennsylvania bowlers and bowling associations. We are proud to announce that the PSBA is continuing this fine program and will be awarding 6 scholarships worth $1250 each for the 2010-11 academic year.

The Scholarship applications will be available no later than November 15, 2009, and the applicants are to send their completed applications to the Scholarship Committee secretary postmarked by March 1, 2010. The winners are selected later and will be notified soon thereafter. Scholarship winners will be recognized at the annual convention. One half of the scholarship is awarded by September 15th and the other half is awarded by January 31st, provided all requirements are met.
